💍 Our Settings

Not all shape and weight diamonds are created equal, and just a couple of millimetres can make all the difference between a durable ring and one that gets damaged from a single knock or pull. That’s why each of our signature settings is crafted for the exact dimensions of the diamond we pick for you, ensuring the utmost quality and steadfastness.

💎 Our Diamonds

We reject 95% of the diamonds that come across our desk: we hunt down the absolute perfect specimens so you know you’ll have the best stone for your money. And if you’d like to be involved in that process so you can choose your diamond yourself – we’d love to be of service.

When we choose a diamond we don’t just look at clarity and colour – though we exclusively work with stones VS2 and above (eye-clean, with any inclusions only visible with a 10 x loupe) and colours DEF (colourless) – but we also hold strict protocols when it comes to stone specifications.

We look at table and depth percentages, crown and pavilion angles, ratios, polish, symmetry, girdle, cut grades, culet size, and fluorescence, ensuring diamond perfection in every sense.

Put simply; nobody else can source you a better diamond than us.

All our diamonds are certified by IGI or GIA, and if you’re not sourcing your own via our loose diamond search we are happy to provide certificate information to you for your review before you make a purchase.

🚚 Shipping

All our rings are made specifically for their recipient, so please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. We like to make sure we have more than enough time to deliver both on your design needs, diamond decisions, and for our craftspeople to create your masterpiece, so please let us know when you place you order when it’s needed and for which occasion.

If you require your ring sooner, drop us a note and we’ll see what we can do.

FAQ

Lab grown diamonds are created through technological processes – HPHT or CVD – in controlled environments, replicating the natural conditions that produce diamonds underground. These diamonds have the same chemical composition, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds.

We work with diamond experts in Surat, the diamond capital of the world. Surat processes 90% of the world’s diamonds and employs more than 800,000 polishers.

We work with established Surat craftspeople and artisans who follow stringent ethical standards, and are members of the Surat Jewellery Manufacturer’s Association and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council. Our specialist diamond consultants are located worldwide and our goldsmiths are right here in the UK.

Lab grown diamond quality is on a par with mined: in fact, they often exhibit fewer imperfections and can be produced with greater control over colour and clarity. Lab grown diamonds are graded and certified similarly to mined diamonds based on the 4Cs: cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight.

For stock items, you have 14 days from your day of receipt to return your item(s) back to us. Any made-to-order items are non-returnable. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

All our rings are bespoke and uniquely created for you. However, we endeavour to design our pieces so they’re easy to resize, making sure you can adjust them if your finger size fluctuates or so you can gift your ring to friends or family members as heirlooms.

We offer one free resizing within three months of your purchase (3 sizes up or down), or if you prefer for a local jeweler to do this for you we offer a rebate/refund of £30 for this purpose.

Please follow these instructions so we have a clear idea of your size prior to ordering, so you have the perfect fit first time.

If you have any questions or concerns about the sizing of your finger, please drop us a note so we can help!

We are committed to repairing or replacing any piece that suffers from a manufacturing defect, free of charge.

Examples of manufacturing defects include

-> Loose stones in a recently crafted setting.

-> Rings that are deformed, crooked, or bent at the time of delivery.

-> Improper materials used in production.

Please note that normal wear and tear, improper use, and accidental damage are not covered under this warranty. This includes:

-> Discolouration caused by exposure to chemicals or cosmetics.

-> Bent, caught, or worn-out prongs resulting in a loose or lost stone.

-> Chips or breaks in gemstones due to everyday wear or accidents.

We recommend you store your gold jewellery in a soft, lined box or pouch to prevent scratches. You will receive a velvet ring or jewellery box with every Adamas Studio purchase.

Platinum is valued for its long-lasting durability and hypoallergenic qualities, making it an attractive alternative to white gold for those with delicate skin. It’s also currently cheaper than gold, given gold’s quickly inflating price.  White gold is a high quality alloy of pure yellow gold and other metals such as nickel, palladium, and silver. Its colour comes from a coating of rhodium, a type of metal that belongs to the platinum group.  Platinum is found naturally in its original form with a white shining tone and 95% purity. It’s known for its durability and scratch resistance, and with no-need to re-plate at any point it can be a good low-maintenance option.
